I often explore various aspects of the world in a figurative manner, seeking to give form to observations and reflections.

Every new painting begins as an exploration.

With each decision about tools, approaches, and how colors are brought together on the canvas, from considering form and volume to light and hue, a unique expression begins to unfold.

My work is deeply guided by the human experience. The figure, the body, and especially the intricate depths of our shared (or unshared) human condition, with all its hidden dimensions, continually inspires my creative pursuit.

Indeed, even the more challenging facets of existence can find their place and purpose on the canvas, transforming raw feeling into a considered statement or a simple relief.
